Frozen pot pies? Or insulin just not working?

So I'm pretty confused right now. My sugars have been fine, last night before bed they were fine and today before I ate they were fine. I had one of those big frozen pot pies because that's the kind of lazy day it is and I checked the nutrition facts etc, 39 carbs per serving, 2 servings per pie. 2 hours later though, my sugar is like 230, so I take a correction dose, an hour later still exactly the same. I just tried again with a new pen and am anxiously waiting for enough time to pass to test again. I was only diagnosed in February, so it's too soon for my honeymoon to be ending right? What else would cause such a sudden change in insulin needs? Or was the insulin somehow ruined overnight? Any ideas?
