I have an endocrinologist who insists on seeing me every month and gives zero refills on my medicines on 1 month supply.
We are not just working out my needs and closely monitoring, either. My A1C is 6.8 and I have a cocktail of meds that I've been taking for a couple of years. I've got everything figured out and stable.
I'm tired of having to call in for refills monthly on so many meds.
Last month I missed an appointment due to a conflict. This month I called for my refills and they would not issue my refills until I scheduled another appointment.
Is this ethical? I don't feel it is. Is it legal, though? Am I stuck in this situation?
