Does anyone has any experience with CFRD? Next school year, my son will be a buddy to 2 twins that have CFRD entering his school for JK (4 yrs old). He will finger poke with them at lunch/snack times is really the main thing. I'm just curious as I've heard of it before and haven't read much on it. I had thought it was caused by the meds but further reading on the CFF site, it caused by the scarring from the mucus related to CF. Is there really any difference in treatment when compared to T1D? Longer honeymoon period, etc.
