Hello there. I was recently diagnosed within the month with Type 2 Diabetes. My fasting number is always within the 70-130 range that my meter and the ADA specifies. (usually 105). When I first started Metformin I got the common diarrhea symptom. Now I'm having the other problem. I take two Metformin 500mg a day, Lipitor, Lisinopril, and Buspar for anxiety. I'd like some advice and if it would safe to take a stool softener once a week or so to move things along. I am going, but not nearly as much as I should be :(
Any help would be...relieving.
