So, I live in Ann Arbor, MI, which is pretty hippy for the Midwest, & I swear, more restaurants & cafes that I enjoy are no longer ordering sugar free flavors for coffee drinks, as well as even sugar free syrup for breakfast restaurants. When I ask why, each one of them claims their establishment seeks to be all natural etc.
Like, great, but drinking liquid sugar doesn't really work for us diabetics like other people. I'm more or less here to vent about how I'm frustrated with this trend, as well as with people judging me every time I ask for something sugar-free, giving me a speech about how it'll cause x disease.
