Hi /r/diabetes!
My Dexcom receiver has been giving me a notification quite frequently, saying "System Check Passed" without me instructing it to do a system check. It has been happening about 2 times a week. It did it today and a couple days ago while at diabetes camp. One problem I had at camp with this particular issue is that my receiver AND my phone with the Dexcom App was that readings were not showing and had the "???" symbol show up for about a few hours during the night. This has happened before....
I was wondering if this has happened to anyone. I am definitely calling Dexcom tomorrow to see if I am in need of a replacement or something.
By the way, this is totally off topic, if any of you are curious about diabetes camp... If you are a parent, please send your kid if you can. If you are not young enough to participate as a camper, become a counselor. It's a great experience. I've only done staff training by far and will meet the campers in a couple of weeks to actually do the camping part. I have never done any program like this in my ~19 years of diabetes and it seems like a truly empowering and potentially live saving thing to do if one is lost in diabetes or just wants to better themselves in their management entirely...
