Hey before my question i would just like to add that my english is not 100%, and i apologize beforehand for errors, hope my text is comprehendable.
i have been lifting weights for a good year now, im happy with my results and i am mainly training for strength. I have noticed that my bloodsugar sometimes spikes after a workout, but i was wondering, if my bloodsugar was already high going into the workout, will it affect my gains somehow? i doubt it does, but just to make sure i would like to ask this subreddit, i could not find anything about it on google other then people saying you should not workout while having high blood sugar. so does it have an effect? do i gain less muscle, or maybe not gain anything at all?
also on a unrelated topic i have a second question, thought i might ask since i am already making a post. i was diagnosed when i was 8 years old (now 18) and have been extremely sensitive to hypo and high bloodsugars(feeling it very strongly), to the point where i can feel a hypo coming already when i am at 3.9 - 4.0 (without having had high bloodsugars previously) but as of late i am getting less and less sensitive, matter of fact it happend very abrupt, over night i all of the sudden didnt notice a hypo before it was down at 2.0, does this sensitivity come back at some point or is it forever gone?
