I'm sorry if you guys get too many of these posts, but I could really use support. I was diagnosed yesterday as type 1 (25 year old girl). The doctor at my clinic made me an appointment at a hospital on Monday to be observed. In the meantime, she told me to use a low dose of insulin once a day. I live in Japan and only speak conversational/work related Japanese. The doctors at the hospital can apparently speak English, but I'm worried that while I'm struggling to communicate, I will forget to ask questions.
So, is there any advice y'all can give me about going to the hospital and learning about managing type one in the beginning? What are some questions I should be asking? Also, is there anything important I should be doing until my appointment Monday? (My doctor just said "eat healthy" ).
