Just wanted to say a month ago I was struggling with my blood sugars couldn't get them under 200....been type 1 for 6 and a half years and my basal rates had to increase 50%. My stress levels were outrageous and anxiety and depression through the roof. My GP had been upping my adderall dose and just prescribed me to anti depressants and xanax due to my stress levels.
I have worked out 10 of the last 14 days and stopped taking adderall and everything else. I have so much more energy and best of all my blood sugar has been hovering around 💯! I couldn't remember when I stopped working out but just some light weight lifting for a half hour to an hour daily has made a huge difference. If you are struggling like I was then try getting back in the gym!
I've always known exercise helps with blood sugar control but somewhere along the way I got lazy and turned to prescription drugs through my GP.
