I've just started a new diet and exercise regimen this past week in an effort to lose a bit of weight. My BG levels have been pretty stable, and on the lower end more than the higher end. In response to some post-workout lows I've been having, I've lowered my basal rates. In addition to this, I'm only consuming 100-150g of carbohydrates per day.
I've been monitoring my ketones closely, and noticed that after working out and eating dinner this evening, I had moderate ketones in my pee. My BG has hovered between 100-150 mg/dL all day.
Should this observation raise any alarm? I know ketones will be present when burning fat, but moderate ketones seem excessive...
