Hey Everyone, I am hoping for some insights from Reddit. There is a history of diabetes in my family (Father and Grandparents on dad's side). I have already talked to my doctor but he didn't seem concerned.
My tests were not fasting tests because doctor told me it was not necessary to fast.
AC1, 5.6%
Average Glucose Estimate, 114 mg/dL
Glucose, Random 96 mg/dl
My doctor has said that my results are within the realm of not diabetes, but I haven't been feeling well... I noticed for ac1 particularly, I was right on the line of "prediabetes" vs "normal". Upon looking through reddit posts, many people mentioned that anything 5.5 or over was a very bad sign. I am not trying to be paranoid but I also would like to make sure I don't get diabetes and my doctors shrug it off.
I am overweight by about 5 pounds... Female, early 30s. Vision has gotten drastically worse in the last year, I have been feeling dizzy, and I pee often. I have high blood pressure diagnosed this year also. Any help would be appreciated. I have seen diabetes in my family and I definitely would like to avoid it if possible.
