Excessive sweating during Winter months

Hi friends, T1D for ~20 years. For the past few years i've noticed excessive palm and foot sweating throughout my day. I first attributed it to my Thyroid being out of whack, which after plenty of dosage changes early this year I can happily say is finally in a normal range. Once I was in a good range, I noticed the sweating had diminished entirely and I was a normal human again.

Now that Winter is rearing it's ugly face again, i'm right back to having to wipe my hands and my keyboard every two minutes, my skin is pruny because it never stops. Seems like a princess problem, but i'm a consultant and there's nothing worse than shaking a sweaty hand :)

After researching a bit, I do see that there is some sort of connection with excessive sweating specifically for the Winter months. Has anyone else experienced this, have any ideas, or tips that you can share? It seems ridiculous that Winter is a factor here, but all signs are pointing it to it being real. If it is i'd really like to understand why.
