So I have a very odd situation that has made treating my diabetes difficult in the past and will only get worse in the future. I work in a high security location that doesn't allow cell phone or Bluetooth devices in the area. It took some extra paperwork just to document my OmniPod so that I could work in my area. The new issue I have run into is my endocrinologist is really recommending I get a CGM. I've seen them for a while now and really wanted to try it out. But every CGM I am aware of uses Bluetooth to communicate.
Wondering if any other diabetics out there work in high security jobs and had advice trying to get that approved.
