Swapped from Medtronic to Omnipod, some thoughts after 24 hours

Just some initial reactions:

Being tubeless is fantastic. I don’t feel restricted with clothing. Don’t have to worry about my pajamas having pockets(or wear any at all if I felt like it)

Free pocket space is nice

Insertion is fantastically easy and fast, even for a guy with a serious aversion to needles(used to take me between 30-180 minutes to change site).

Downsides:

Need better special awareness. Already caught it on my car door getting fuel(wearing on my arm)

The click noise when administering insulin is startlingly loud.

All in all, thus far, I’m happy. I assume the clicking will fade out for me and I’ll be better about watching doors in time.
