I just got my Levemir filled at a Wallgreens which was closer to home. Usually, my Rx gets me 1-2 boxes. Usually 2 Boxes with 5 sticks. I just walked away from the Pharmacy and all I got was 3 sticks.
When I called the pharmacy, they told me that they now run the Rx based on the day supply on units. I take 38 units a day, and they claimed the three sticks was the appropriate amount for the amount I was taking, but CVS down the road gives me 2 boxes.
$30 for 3 sticks, or $30 for 10 Sticks..... Anyone else have this experience? Anyone else sick and tired of unreliable expense when it comes to the consistency of getting your Rx?
