It may be a miniscule impact, but I recently discovered the glycerine level in some soaps can alter glucose readings. I've read simple warm tap water is adequate -- especially with a fresh paper towel to dry and an alcohol swipe right before the test.
From a different perspective, I like the cleanliness one gets from soap and the lathering action allegedly stimulates the fingers assuring a superior blood stick.
Does anyone know of a low or no glycerine hand soap they might recommend? TIA.
