Im 28 years old and I've been diabetic since I was 2... The past decade or so I've been fighting getting a sensor because they literally just looked like pain in the butt. I've had a dexcom g6 for about 6 months and I was completely right. First off I find anything in my stomach extremely uncomfortable and with the job have have anything on my stomach gets rubbed on and ripped out..... Now I've been putting them in the back of my arms and they aren't pleasant either. First off they hurt like a mofo sometimes, shooting stinging pain throughout my entire arm, they have left the back of my arms completely bruised and bloody. I rarely get 10 days out of one, my last one crapped out after 2 days and I'm sick of being on the phone with dexcom getting them to send me replacements. I'm so over it already I don't know why anyone wants one of these things... And I got the dexcom because everyone thinks it's the best, I can't imagine how shitty other ones are if this is the best. F sensors, I'll wait another decade to see what technology produces.
