Hi I’m new to this subreddit and as of today I’ve been a diabetic for about 19 years, practically born with it. I’m transferring to a big college far from where I currently live and everyday I panic at the thought of actually being on my own once the fall comes around.
I do manage my diabetes decent well, having an A1C of 7.1 however, I have this nagging feeling that I’m not ready to take care of myself yet. I feel as though something will go wrong.
Felt as though I needed to get this out with people that understand me. I guess what I’m hoping to gain from this post is some advice on how I should approach this because any insight would help.
