24 years old, M, who was diagnosed at 6. I am wondering how older people are doing with their diabetes. Is it terrible or manageable?

I have been diagnosed for so long i dont remember how life was before. Diabetes is a part of my life and I do not really have any issue with it. I am handling it quite good, atleast according to my doctor. I exercise and dose regularly. With the Omnipod and the Freestyle Libre everything has gotten so much better as well and with the progress i feel more motivated to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

My question is, anything i should look out for? Since I plan on sticking around for a while it might be good to know. Also, how has the disease changes over time? Worse? Or maybe better since experience makes you better at handling it?

I appreciate anyone taking the time to answer. I wish you a balanced glucose level and a nice hba1c.
