I have now had the Medtronic Minimed 670g pump on auto mode for 2 months! I am more than a little annoyed on the sheer amount of alarms going off while I'm sleeping, at work, driving the car. It can send me 4 alarms at once, the BS is high, it's been high too long, the pump have been on max dosage for too long, and it needs a new BS to continue auto mode. I am convinced it have been trying to kill me for the past week as the auto mode dosage have been too high night time, waking me up every 2 hours to warn about low BS. The sensor keeps updating at terrible timing (sending me to the ER after a hypoglycemic seizure) and I get terrible rashes from the adhesive on the sensors.
But! My Hba1c have dropped from 75 to 60 in just 2 months time!
It's been hell trying to get the auto mode to work, but it finally feels like it's been adjusted and the lower hba1c feels like such a relief!
