Two days ago I posted about I had some sweets and I felt like I was going to pass out and my blood sugar at the time was around 280. Yesterday when I woke up it was still around 280, I am still fasting so I decided to monitor it all day. When I checked before breaking my fast it was 196 (I thought awesome finally going down at least). I had burgers to break my fast with no carbs and just mushrooms and tomatoes on the side as well as a 0 sugar flavored drink (ice). I took my insulin and went to sleep (40 units of Bazglar) I woke up to 250. I’m confused as to why it’s going up when I am asleep. I’m type 2. I’m eating 0 sugar and keto. What could be the issue here?
One thing I’d like to add is maybe dehydration? I’m fasting for long 5 am to 9 pm without water? But I’m drinking like a gallon at night too so idk. I can’t really think of anything else.
