It appears that the only time I ever run out of insulin is at about 4 in the morning. And every time I do, It BEEPS and BEEPS and VIBRATES and BEEPS and BEEPS and BEEPS and VIBRATES and BEEPS and BEEPS. Like every 3 fucking minutes. I wake up for work at 5:30, and I'm not going to wake up at 4 when my BG is 90 to fill a cartridge and put in a new site. If I did that there is absolutely no way I would get back to bed.
I used to have a medtronic pump and that thing had an option to mute it for a few hours or something. Does the t: slim have that option cause I'm about ready to throw it through a fucking wall if it doesn't leave me alone for 10 minutes one of these times.
PS. I know that the point of the alerts is to wake you up so your sugar doesn't go high. But I'm fine with my BG being 200-250 for a couple hours so I can sleep throughout the night.
