So I think by now you all have seen the news, Diabetics like us are in the at-risk group for serious complications. I'm pleased with how the doctors are offering more remote options, but I'm a little horrified there isn't better options for testing. They make at home A1-c, cholesterol etc. My diabetes is well managed, thank goodness, so I told my GP that I'm not going in for my bloodwork or in person visit. I just can't risk the exposure, the lab is older and poorly ventilated.
How are you all riding out the storm? I get most of my food delivered from Schwans now, and meat from ButcherBox. I do telemedicine for ear aches etc. Personally I've found this quarantine to be very bad for me, I'm moving less now than I used to at work. I really need to get in my steps to keep my numbers down.
I haven't been out of the house in 2 months because I'm very lucky to be able to work remote. How are the rest of you handling this situation?
