I’ve had many issues with my current insulin pump—not the pump itself, but all blood glucose reading issues (so the Guardian sensor). Unfortunately, this is the sensor company that Medtronic uses so I’m stuck with it. I previously used Dexcom which I NEVER had problems with, but when the insulin pump company went out of business I was forced to switch pumps. Bottom line, my insulin pump broke and bc it is out of warranty, I have to choose to pay $1000 for a new Medtronic pump, or I can pay $1500 to try the Tandem T Slim.... I’m worried to switch pumps bc it is such an adjustment, but before spending over a grand, I want to make sure I’m buying the pump that people seem to like more. Can you all who have used both or maybe used the T slim give me some feedback? I have worked with Dexcom before and loved it, but the pump settings will all be new to me.
TLDR: Do you prefer the Medtronic Minimed 670g or the Tandem T Slim! Feedback please! 💗
