Hi guys, I am a t1 diabetic currently using the Medtronic 670g. My Guardian sensory is constantly losing it’s commotion, and frequently the numbers are way off when it DOES connect (i.e. I was 266 yesterday via finger stick and my pump said I was 134). I have already ordered a new sensor, and recently had my pump replaced in the recall, but it just isn’t working for me at all. I get lost sensor signals all the time, including the middle of the night, and at least 3x a week my sleep is significantly disturbed.
With all this being said, my endocrinologist wants me to be switched to the TSlim with Control IQ/Dexcom. She said the treatments have been night and day, and her patients are Buch better controlled. My basal is about 65 units per day (higher between 4-8 am because I am waking up around 135).
Does anyone have experience with switching/TSlim? Am I doing something wrong with the Medtronic?
Thanks! I appreciate the help.
