The name of the device is the Abbot Freestyle LIbre 2, and the way it works is that a small probe is inserted into the interstitial fluid just below that skin.
There is a transceiver at arm level that receives the signal from the probe inserted near your hand. Bluetooth technology will allow reading of the electrochemical current reading and the glucose levels can be process and delivered straight to your phone screen.
I feel this might be kind of invasive, but I do like the idea of not finger pricking anymore. What do you guys think?
