Hi! Curious - what are some diabetic-friendly food gems you’ve found? Am thinking - things that are diabetic-friendly but still taste surprisingly good.
I recently came across Maria and Ricardo’s Whole Wheat Plus tortillas (4 net carbs per), which I found surprisingly pretty good. Of course, nothing like a real flour or corn tortilla - but would buy again.
I was recently diagnosed with T2 diabetes a couple months ago (while hospitalized with covid for 3 wks ... another longer story). It’s been a crash course in education around diabetes, to say the least. I’m beginning to feel more confident about my new diet and lifestyle - so looking for tips on food to keep me on track!
