So this has only happened a handful of times to me in the 13 years of being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, but every time it happens I always feel stuck and lost on what to do.
I have the tendancy to input the amount of insulin on my libre (on my phone) before I actually inject and most of the time I put in my long acting insulin, out of habit, before I take it, because I tend to take it at the same time every day.
But today is one of them days where it's been a blur and I just can't remember for the life of me if I've taken my long acting insulin or not. And I can't rely on my blood sugar readings to give some insight because the last week or two has been major roller coasters and spikes, and I'm just stuck! (Yay for insulin & regime changes)
Looks like it's gonna be one of them sleepless nights of checking BS every few hours and correcting all night if needs be.
God, it's is exhausting sometimes.
