I wondered if I should post this on a food sub or this one, but I felt like y'all would be more helpful in this case, however if this post is not allowed, please remove!
So my case is this: My auntie is diabetic, and recently ended up in hospital for weeks due to chemo poisoning, as she had breast cancer removed and such, won't go into it. She's...fucked, to say the least, but I miss her, wanted to make her something and this weekend I'll be seeing her, so wanted to make something that wasn't too hard but still delicious for her and I...don't really know what.
I have this recipe for banana muffins which I've lowered the sugar a tad, but I feel it may still be too much - I've also two small ripe bananas I thought I could use? Quick & Easy Banana Muffins | Sally's Baking Addiction https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/banana-muffins/
I did a quick google search but it...wasn't helpful. I seriously don't know how to make diabetic-friendly desserts so really need the help.
Thank you!
