BACKSTORY: So I was diagnosed with diabetes late 2018 and have been on insulin ever since. My diabetes was caused by an athropic or atropic pancrease due to multiple attacks of pancreatitis(more than 18.) My doctor says it's secondary diabetes and it doesn't fall into T1 or T2. My A1c was at 17 at the time of diagnosis, and in late 2019 it was 12. 6 months ago I started getting diarrhea after a gluteal abscess followed by abscess in the finger. I also briefly lost any feeling in my legs below the shin and have trouble walking after the numbness went away. The diarrhea still continues and sometimes I have secretions of oil like substance if I don't take my supplement for pancrease often. I also lost weight, from 86KG to 42KG. My blood sugar used to be in the 500s but now it's somewhere between 150 and 250.
CONFUSION: What type of diabetes do I have?
Is the damage to my veins in legs reversible? (Diabetic neuropathy caused it)
Is diarrhea that common in diabetes?
Does stress increase blood sugar extensively?
This is a dumb one but: How do I stop smoking cigarettes even when I know it's extremely harmful to my health?
I'm sorry for asking weird questions but due to my dad being jobless, the only thing my family is focused on buying on time is insulin.
