I was recently diagnosed with T1 and just got out of hospital 3 days ago. So, basically my question is when is it better to hit the gym for heavy lifting sessions. I enjoy doing it in a first half of the day. Is it better to do first thing in the morning fasted after only taking my basal or should I hit it somewhere around 1PM before lunch for example? And should I base my gym sessions around my BG levels? For reference, before I was diagnosed I used to do these full-body sessions, each lasted for about 1.5 hours. And I don't really do much cardio, if any.
