Any tips on managing blood sugar while running?

I recently got a Dexcom which has allowed me to go on longer runs, my favorite exercise. I’ve been using glucose tablets to bring my blood sugar up but it’s caught me in a weird spot where the tablets don’t raise the blood sugar fast enough to keep running and I usually have to slow down and walk the rest of the way and then worse my blood sugar keeps rising once I’m done because of the tablets. If anyone has any suggestions or experience I’d appreciate it. I usually try and run for at least 30 mins. Thanks!
