I have had T1 diabetes for 41yrs, and have had very poor control for the entire time. I do not have any visible side effects so far except I cannot achieve a good erection unless my blood sugar level is between 15-22mmol/Lt. When I try to have sex on normal BGLs I suffer very weak erections, orgasms and Viagra doesn't even help much. Any ideas why this is? Doctors tell me it's usually the reverse.
