I'm pretty new to this, type 2 insulin resistant, on metformin. Am interested to see how I react to various food/meals/snacks, for obvious reasons, and have come across a lot of 'eat to your meter' advice. But what does this mean in practice? Ive found that even if the 2 hour level is okay, the 1 hour can be much higher, and sometimes a 30min test is even higher. Do you have a maximum 'raise' which you allow for food to be ok? Or do you do something different?
