I see these types of posts all the time but I still wanted to share mine! I was diagnosed in August with an A1C of 11.4 and through low carb, exercise, and 1500 mg metformin, I got my A1C results back just now at 6.6. I am still adjusting and finally have my first endo appointment next week but I'm pretty happy with the results. Still a lot of work to do but its a lot less anxiety being under 7.
