Just recently found out I'm diabetic. Been really watching every carb since then, trying to get off insulin as quickly as possible (I'm incredibly needle-phobic.)
I notice a lot of food packaging now talks about being low in "net carbs" which I know has something to do with fiber content, but honestly sounds more like a marketing ploy than a health fact.
Does anyone here know if "net carbs" is actually something I should be considering, or just focusing on the original carbohydrate grams?
