Time sensitive question: If I'm only changing the cartridge for t slim x2 and not the infusion set, then do I skip the fill cannula step since the cannula is already filled from before?

Basically the title.

I was supposed to change everything yesterday, but I felt bad about wasting a full day's worth of insulin so I didn't do that. I only changed the site yesterday. I'm changing the cartridge today, and I did all the fill tubing stuff already. I only have the fill cannula step left, but I think I don't have to do that since the cannula already has insulin from before, right?
