One touch verio accuracy?

I have to see the endo today and was wondering if it is time to change meters. I've been using one touch meters for over 25 years, back to the days when they had that big door you had to close.

I have a love hate relationship with one touch because they can be wildly inaccurate, so I've never bothered "upgrading" to the verio strip models.

Have any of you had a positive or negative experience with these? Am I missing out on anything by not switching?
