I have had this on my stomach for some years but never really thought to much about what it was until recently I was reading an article and they mentioned it and I knew immediately that is what has been going on with me. I have been still injecting in this site forever because I didn't really realize I was causing the issue. I am trying to ignore the site now and use mainly my arms and legs but my question is - can I use areas of my stomach that are a little further out? Will my dexcom affect it healing (again I am trying to use areas a little further out)? Will the healing take longer since I have had the issue for awhile (I would say probably about 10 years I have had this and just though I had a weird "pooch"). I have read it can take up to a year but just curious if I should expect longer. I am not looking forward to not injecting in my stomach for a year as this is obviously the most convenient spot. It doesn't extremely bother me but obviously would like to get rid of the problem for better absorption plus to get rid of it in general.
