Troubleshooting blood sugar with intermittent fasting

Been struggling with the last couple weeks of normal/low nights and high mornings. Tried adjusting my basal after posting on here. Kinda helped but did not work. My normal was never waking up 130-175. It was more like 80-110 consistently. Thought it was dawn phenomenon, excess cortisol/adrenaline, adrenal stress, lack of appropriate vitamins/minerals, not enough exercise, too much carbs, etc etc.

Nothing work. Did a 16 hour fast, only drinking a few espressos, water, and liquid amino acids under the tongue. Sugar dropped and after a four small meals before bed, sugar was still sub-80. Woke up in the morning 74. BINGO. Great energy, great sleep, and ready for a new day. It wasnt that bad getting through a physical day of work, kept me away from thinking about food. If I really got hungry- coffee or liquid aminos did the trick.

Without getting into the details of my nerd-self, it worked for me. And I will be utilizing this method again possibly once a week or whenever my sugar is not "cooperating" beyond my understanding. Hope this helps someone else.
