One of the actions listed for this drug is "Slowing" Gastric Emptying. Since it is a once week dose this effect can last 7 days or more.
This action can potentially be extremely dangerous and life threatening. Without food or water you will die. It can happen without accompanying Pancreatic disease that is listed on the label as contraindicated
If you experience stomachache, are unable to eat or drink without pain , lightheadedness, or weakness/ loose consciousness go to the emergency room.
I survived after having my stomach pumped and given iv fluids, but I'm not too sure everybody knows what to do so I posted this as a warning to the people. Please do not accept this drug from your doctor if it is brought up as it is potentially fatal.
