When I told my father about my new pump/CGM his reaction was to show me this video of this kid!!! who was cured!!! by eating eggplants!!!
He then proceeded to say he wasn't sure it'd work since I've already been diabetic for ~20 years, but has been trying to get me to eat only eggplants.
This is so frustrating. The attitude of 'well you just aren't trying hard enough to be healthy. If you just tried harder or prayed harder or believed more you'd be healthy!'
Ugh. I just needed to rant somewhere.
