First time posting here. T1D for 6 years now, diagnosed at 24.
Up until now I used shots, and me a1c has been consistently below 7, but not without a good amount of lows. Decided to give the pump a try.
I met with my Endo yesterday, and she was really pushing for the Medtronic 670g. I know it’s the most cutting edge pump out there, but are there any drawbacks to it? Are there other pumps I should consider? Anything this specific pump doesn’t do as well? Are there any newer technologies on the brink of going commercial that I should wait for?
Felt like the doctor was just a bit too pushy for that one specific model.
