Quick question about carbs...

If you’re strictly watching carb intake, how low do you try to keep the number of total carbs to a snack or a meal?

For example, I found some sugar free puddings that are 10g of total carbs. That seems low but I’m not sure if low enough? I mean I know peanuts are generally considered “low carb” but they also average 12 carbs per 1/2 cup.

Obviously I realize the lower the better, just trying to find the balance in also getting some diversity in the diet.
