Hi guys, I’m an extremely ambitious 14 year old that wants to cure diabetes and especially type 1. I am not diabetic and neither is my family but I have always been very intrigued in the Pancreas and why we can’t cure/treat these conditions. I understand a good portion of Type 1/Type 2, but what is the cornerstone symptom of all diabetic diagnoses? I am trying to write a guide in order to better understand the disease so I can begin work on my informal studies of gene editing. Thank you for an answer and I hope one we can cure this terrible group of diseases afflicting the Pancreas.
