started seeing a new doctor because i'm moved, and getting my prescriptions has been a pain.
first of all this office seems to do blood work after the appointment, so you can't really discuss the results with the doctor, unless you want to talk about the old results.
Now the more concerning part to me, when they switched over my insulin, the first prescription was for 10 units 3 times a day. I don't know a single diabetic who takes the same shot no matter what they eat everyday. Plus i'm on a sliding scale. Nothing about taking any shots as needed. So far its been sent back 2 times by the pharmacy trying to help me out.
I've had some other prescriptions change dosages, not much, some double and whatnot, but all without warning or the doctor actually talking about it with me, That's not standard right?
Thanks for any input, having my second visit with this doctor next week, hopefully i can get things worked out
