I was diagnosed in late October last year and had a very high A1C (13.6) and clocked in well over 450 lbs. last week I had my follow up, A1C is down to 6.0 and I am currently sitting at about 402 lbs. It was a lot of work but I just wanted to say that even for people with high numbers like I had you can do it! Just stay focused, don’t beat yourself up if you have a high reading or indulge in some not-so-healthy food options on rare occasions. Swimming a lot also helped me :)
