Hey guys, so I’m not a diabetic patient myself but my dad is (Type 2) and I was hoping to get him a CGM. Don’t really know much about them but I’ve looked into a few, and my top 2 choices right now are the Freestyle Libre & the Dexcom G6.
Just wanted to hear some user experiences/stories on both products, and what they believe are shortcomings/missing from the patches. For example, I’ve seen a couple posts about bleeding caused by the patches, is that common?
Also,is there a criteria I should consider when choosing what is better for him? He currently checks his blood sugar every morning and night with a finger prick glucose meter. Thanks in advance
