If anyone has a G6 Dexcom CGM, have u been able to extend the life of it past its 10-14 day span? Like for the G5, although it has it’s troubles...I was able to wear it for 2X it’s normal life span (with pretty accurate readings and no infections for me at least).
I know that the G6 has a specific ID for each insertion set, and I think thats what is keeping it from being used over its original 10-14days.
I’m just trying to lessen the amount of times I have to change it, re-order supplies, and hopefully redistribute that “saved” money to other more needed supplies.
Wishful thinking...but maybe someone has figured a way?
