I’m new here and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was a preteen, it really effected me then. I went from living a normal life to taking multiple shots and pills a day and I just felt kinda isolated from other kids. I’ve never in my life had a conversation with another diabetic. Or befriended any for that matter. That’s kinda why I joined this sub, if anyone would like to chat or share. I’m more than open to talk and meet people like me.
